AAPPS Membership

The AAPPS' mission is to promote the art and science of pediatric plastic surgery and to improve the care of children with deformities related to the field of plastic surgery. Membership is open to the following:

Active Membership

Plastic surgeons who have completed a residency training program in the field of plastic surgery, are ABPS certified, and have a commitment to the clinical and academic interests of children and adolescents in the field of pediatric plastic surgery.

Requirements & Application

Affiliate Membership

Residents currently enrolled in an plastic surgery residency program that has been approved by the Residency Review Committee (RRC-PS) for Plastic Surgery and accredited by the Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or a program approved by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (RCPSC).

Post-residency fellows fully trained in plastic and reconstructive surgery pursuing further subspecialty training in pediatric plastic surgery.

Registered nurses, Speech pathologists, Physical and Occupational therapists, Social workers who are committed to the clinical and academic interest of children and adolescents in the field of pediatric plastic surgery.

Research scientists with a Masters and PhD degree who are committed to the clinical and academic interests of children and adolescents in the field of pediatric plastic surgery.
